Community Bank Board of Directors Names New President

Community Bank in Lexington, Tennessee today announced that Phillip Renfroe has been named President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Larry D. Wright, who will remain with the Bank as Chief Credit Officer.

Renfroe, 38, has served as Community Bank’s Executive Vice President since 2003, serving primarily as a commercial and consumer lender.  Community Bank is the only locally owned and operated Bank in Lexington , with two branches there and one branch in Jackson, Tennessee .

"Phillip possesses an exceptional blend of business and leadership skills,” said Tim Roberts, Community Bank’s Board Chairman.  "His selection was endorsed unanimously by our Board of Directors, and we are confident that he is the ideal person to sustain Community Bank's strong performance and lead the company into the next chapter of its history."

Commenting on his selection, Renfroe said:

Renfroe, a native of Lexington , received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Memphis State University in 1992.  Prior to his employment at Community Bank, he was a lender for Union Planters in Lexington for 5 years.  He is a 2007 graduate of the WestStar Leadership Program sponsored by UT Martin.  He is married to Dachelle Reeves Renfroe, and they have two children, Jacob, 8, and Joel, 2.  They are expecting a third child in December.
